I had the privilege of working as part of the official photography team for the Beltane Fire Festival and Samhuinn Fire Festival in Edinburgh. The festival is a deeply spiritual experience for the local community and the performers bring passion, creativity and warmth (literally!) in a way that is so captivating. Being able to get to know some of the performers, capture the hard work in preperation of the event, and then celebrate a job well done is something I will always cherish. I miss the spirit, connectivity and wonder of this society and I hope to return to the action soon!
