I am Hazel Braven-Davenport - an emerging Scottish photographer with a love for storytelling and community. My work spans live events, conceptual shoots and personal portraiture, but my main interest is people.

I care about creating images that feel authentic and personal. I slow the process down and take time to get to know the person in front of me. It’s only by doing this that I feel I can try to capture a reflection of who they are.

From documenting the energy of live performances such as for the Beltane Fire Festival and music concerts, to the quiet reflection of everyday people, I am drawn to the uniqueness and passion in others and I feel this reflects in my work.
